Welcome to the home page of the molecular ecology and evolution group (MEEG). We are an inter-disciplinary group, researching the systematics and population genetics of a wide range of organisms.
We currently have projects focusing on questions of population genetic variation in Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) and brown trout (Salmo trutta), marine connectivity, including work on temperate invertebrate systems, the origin and diversification of parasites, including arthropod ectoparasites and their vectors, forensic entomology, and population genetic variation in duikers and UK otter populations.
