About the Researcher

This study is led by Karl Devincenzi who is currently a full time PhD Student at the School of Education and Lifelong Learning at the University of Exeter.

In particular, he is interested in developing an understanding of young people's motivations and aspirations when considering their future educational paths, career choices and life opportunities. He is also interested in issues surrounding the effectiveness of mentoring with young people.

As part of the PhD course, Karl undertook a research methodology course at the University and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma (Pg Dip) in Educational Research during the first year of his studies.
