The main category of participant eligible for support by the EC contract is that of Young Researchers, i.e. under 35 years of age and nationals of and active inside a Member or Associated state of the EU.

Such participants are eligible for up to 100% payment of fees and travel costs, but the actual support will depend on the numbers of people in this category. If 100% payment is possible then the fees will be waived and the travel costs may be reimbursed during the Workshop on production of invoices as evidence of prior payment. 

The Conference Organisers should be in a position to advise on the level of support by the mid May, which is the deadline for acceptance of abstracts. 

All potential participants in this category should contact the Conference Organisers by email with a brief CV including a list of publications, so that eligibility can be considered.

The other category of participant with up to 100% support from the EC concerns those with European nationality currently working outside Europe. Again potential candidates should contact the Conference Organisers.
