The cathedral and its precinct offer a wide range of different stones which make a useful introduction to the science of geology. Limestones with fossils, granites and lavas, some sandstones - all are here to help you read the city, the streets and buildings. Just turn up and explore with geologist Eric Robinson.
Monday 6 September - Friday 10 September, every day at 12.30pm
Meeting place: West Front of Exeter Cathedral
Free, just turn up!
