The BA Festival of Science is the BA's showcase event and one of the UK's biggest science festivals. Every year it attracts the best scientists and science communicators from home and abroad who reveal the latest developments in research to a general audience.
The BA Festival of Science 2004 will take place in Exeter from 4 - 11 September.
The theme of the Festival, chosen by the BA's President Dame Julia Higgins, is "the responsibility of being a scientist".
This year's BA Festival of Science will for the first time be accompanied by a diverse programme of events not only at the University but all over the city and the region, with the aim of engaging a broad range of local audiences in the Festival of Science.
The programme of events has been organised by Ginny Russell and Adam Bostanci, the local coordinators of the BA Festival of Science ...in the city, as well local and national organisations and many enthusiastic individuals.
As in previous years, the core Festival programme at the University can be searched on the website of the BA.
We hope you'll enjoy our programme!
