For those interested in using imaging data to develop mathematical models…
A presentation by Professor Philip K. Maini, Wolfson Centre for Mathematical Biology
Oxford University.
29th Jan 2015 Thur 12:00 – 13:00
Venue: Neuman Lecture Theatre Red (F)
University of Exeter
This talk will review three biological problems in which cell movement plays an important role: (i) acid-mediated cancer cell invasion, (ii) cranial neural crest cell invasion, (iii) intestinal crypt dynamics. Each example will illustrate a particular modelling technique and the results will be critiqued in the context of biological observations.
