The National Marine Aquarium
is dedicated to raising awareness of the oceans, the challenges they face
and the ways in which we can all help ensure they have a sustainable future.
It was the first aquarium in the United Kingdom to be set up solely for the
purpose of education, conservation and research and remains Britain's foremost
aquarium, attracting over one and a half million visitors in the four years
it has been open.
