Below are the control instuctions for viewing a selection of Cornish memorials from overseas cemeteries and several from local churchyards recording the deaths of Cornish people. Cemeteries are important for several reasons: they are a rich and easily accessible source of information about the past. They are a history of a community in microcosm and crucially, they connect communities across time and space.
