A
Seminar is being arranged by the ACTUI network to bring together active
researchers from a range of institutions in this country and abroad. The
main purpose is to promote and facilitate exchanges of information on
developments in analytical methods, under the general heading of Advanced
Computer Techniques in Underground Infrastructure.
The event represents an opportunity to meet other researchers in a common
research area, to explore similarities and differences between individual
approaches, and the potential for joint future development, and to identify
possible themes and partners for collaborative proposals to be submitted for
EPSRC and EU finding.
Papers, posters and demonstrations will be sought from established and newer
researchers active in the general topic area, through communication with
ACTUI members and by advertising at relevant research events. The Seminar
will be free to existing ACTUI members, to whom some assistance with travel
and accommodation will be available.
Papers presented at the Seminar will be published in a bound volume of
Proceedings.
