Stem Cells - a future medical miracle cure?

Cafe ScientifiqueCould your body repair itself so that diseases such as Parkinson's and Diabetes become a thing of the past? Could spinal injuries be cured? Dr Stephen Minger, who derived the first human embryonic stem cell line in the UK, will talk about his work and invite the audience to discuss and debate the science, ethics and potential applications of stem cell research at Exeter's regular Cafe Scientifique.
