A marathon film screening session of classic sci-fi films with guest speakers. In keeping with the theme of the festival - 'The responsibility of the scientist' - the shortlist of films includes: 2001 A Space Odyssey, Dr Strangelove, Silent Running, Bladerunner, Time Bandits, Back To The Future, Minority Report and Young Frankenstein. The results of the BBC's poll for the Top Ten Movie Scientists will be announced on the night.
