Bears Down Wind Farm

Bears Down Wind Farm, developed and operated by National Wind Power Ltd, is currently Cornwall 's most powerful wind farm and generates enough clean and sustainable energy for around 7,500 average homes. During this visit to Bears Down on 7th September you will see a turbine from the inside and NWP's professional operations staff will answer all your questions about alternative energy. The coach will stop for lunch in the lovely town of Padstow in North Cornwall , giving you a chance to eat at Rick Stein's Fish and Chip shop.

Tuesday 7 September, 9am-4pm

Meeting place: Washington Singer Building, then Paris Street Coach Station lower level

Tickets: £5.00 (advance booking essential)
