South West Astronomy Fair
This well established and unique event is celebrating its fifth year, bringing visitors from all over the country to an area of oustanding natural beauty.
It provides an opportunity to visit our famous observatory, attend some excellent lectures by leading astronomers and to buy the latest astronomical and related equipment from the various trade stands.
Planetarium presentations and telescope dome tours take place throughout the day. Car parking and refreshments are available.
The fair takes place on Saturday, 7th August 2010, from 9 am to 6 pm.
The event is suitable for all ages and welcomes disabled visitors by providing step free access. Futhermore we have a special stand for the visually impaired.
