"A Systematic Review of Studies Addressing Specific Questions about the Management of Several Tumour Types Common in Elderly People"










Project Summary and Objectives:

To undertake a systematic review of the existing evidence on adjuvant treatment and chemotherapy for metastatic colon and rectum tumours in elderly people.

The evidence will be reviewed by a multi-professional expert panel which will co-operate with appropriate collaborative review groups within the Cochrane Cancer Network.

Where possible, evidence based clinical guidelines for the management of elderly patients with cancer will be devised.
