"Systematic Reviews of the Effectiveness of Different Ways of Meeting the Information Needs of People with Cancer"

Project Summary and Objectives:

The researchers aim to produce systematic reviews of research evidence of the effects of different ways of providing information to meet the needs of people with cancer and their families.

The team will identify the range of approaches which have been (or could be) used, and will summarise existing research into the effects and costs of specific types of information materials and various systems to support and complement information-giving by health professionals.

The researchers will deliver high quality clinically relevant summaries of the relevant research evidence which can be used to inform future practice and research.
