Acknowledgements
The Advisory Group and secretariat would like to thank all those who helped in this exercise. The contributions received from the NHS, the research community and elsewhere clearly showed the importance of cancer to large numbers of people and organisations. The evidence, both written and verbal, was invaluable in helping the Advisory Group in its difficult and complex task of identifying and selecting R&D priorities for the NHS.
